A World Champion and lifelong sports historian, Kirk has competed and coached at the highest levels across multiple sports — from roller hockey, golf, pickleball, to running the six world wide marathon majors.
With decades of experience as an athlete, coach, and leader, he blends deep historical research with a passion for storytelling to explore the origins, legacies, and identities of iconic teams. His work has taken him from the rinks and fields of Canada to the world stage, where he’s won national and international championships and helped shape the growth of emerging sports.
