Seven city championships. Two provincial titles. But that was never the summit.

In 2015, Team Alberta qualified for the AAA division at the Roller Hockey State Wars World Championships — the first Alberta team to do so in six years. They lost in the quarterfinals to Wisconsin. But on the drive back to the hotel, their coach asked three players a question.
"Would you rather have won gold in AA or finished fifth in AAA?"
Without hesitation — "Fifth in AAA." That was the moment the climb truly began.

This is the story of the 2003 Team Alberta AAA roller hockey team — a group that helped build one of the greatest dynasties in inline hockey history. From Alberta roots to overtime glory at the State Wars World Championships, this is a story about belief, sacrifice, brotherhood, and chasing the highest level possible.
